A quiet winter so far here in Kelseyville. We have had some rain, dustings of snow and a lot of frosty mornings. Days have been beautiful, sunny and clear, sometimes cool, sometimes quite lovely. Time to relax and recharge while planning the new year ahead.
February is upon us and as you can see we're all getting ready to gather together to share our various interests whether that be sports, wine, chocolate, art or music. So bundle up and come on out and join in the fun!

February 1st, First Friday Fling, 5:30p-7:30p (ongoing thru 2013) Celebrate art with music and wine at the Main Street Gallery in Lakeport. February 9th, 7th Annual Lake County Wine & Chocolate, noon to 4pm An afternoon of wine, chocolate and much more! Owner, Certified Sommelier, Masters of Wine/Masters Sommelier Candidate Stephanie Cruz Green has been working all year pairing the wines, chocolates and savories to create a wonderful sensory experience. Over 40 wineries will be in attendance. This is a fundraiser for Lake Family Resource Center so it's a win-win - you get great wines and your monies benefit a great organization! Event held at Mt. February 23rd, Focused On Wine - Sensory 101 Class, 11a-4p, How to look at, smell and taste wine like a pro! This is a fun, fascinating and intellectually stimulating class filled with great wine that will expand your palette and your vocabulary! Owner, Certified Sommelier, Masters of Wine/Masters Sommelier Candidate Stephanie Cruz Green will lead you through the ins and outs of tasting wines from all over the globe. Learn the difference between old world and new world wines, decipher a label, and how wine is affected by various man-made and natural influences. Following the class you will be treated to a delightful buffet filled with savories and sweets influenced by the wines of the day (and if you've been to one of our events you know the food will rock!).
